Members of the Offshore Coalition for Energy and Nature (OCEaN) and the Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) will host an interactive two-part workshop and networking lunch. We will dive into the recently announced European Ocean Pact, which aims to enhance ocean governance and collaboration across sectors, and explore its implications for offshore wind and grids, biodiversity protection and restoration, other marine industries, and Member States. High-level speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities of deploying energy infrastructure in a way that delivers nature- and people-positive outcomes. A policy panel and presentations laying out concrete examples will be complemented by a networking lunch.
