Biography

Marie-Anne has worked in the wind industry since 2007, having previously worked at consultancies including DNV and Wood Thilsted, providing independent analysis and technical consultancy services for onshore and offshore (fixed and floating) wind farms globally. At Ramboll, Marie-Anne is the Offshore Site & Yield Assessment Competency Group Lead. A published author and active participant in various industry working groups, she has managed industry-leading projects (including with the Crown Estate and Carbon Trust) to improve wind characterisation methods, contributing towards the reduction of LCoE of offshore wind projects. Marie-Anne is also a Technical Expert on the BSI National Standards Committee and a member of the committee on the new IEC standard on floating Lidar measurements. Her role as co-chair on the Wind Resource Metocean industry discussion group seeks to promote knowledge sharing and closer alignment of the wind resource and metocean disciplines.
