Offshore Flow Modelling Specialist, Vattenfall

Biography

My name is Gonzalo, and I am currently working as an Offshore Flow Modelling Specialist in the Offshore Wind Resource and Production department at Vattenfall in Germany. My work focuses on the development of wind farm wake simulation tools using RANS CFD (OpenFOAM, HPC) as well as analytical wake models (FLORIS, Python). I hold a PhD in Meteorology from the University of Buenos Aires, and subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Uppsala University in Sweden.
