Peter Baas is a leading expert in the field of real-weather based modelling of offshore wind farms. With a background in atmospheric physics, Peter specialised in the field of applying atmospheric large-eddy simulation (LES) to large-scale wind farm projects. Recently he has been in the lead of the WINS50 research project (https://wins50.nl/) on year-long LES of a full hypothetical 2050 North Sea scenario.
