Biography

Tolga Kara is a PhD candidate in Atmospheric Science at Istanbul Technical University and a researcher at the Sustainable Energy and Climate Systems Laboratory. His research focuses on the integration of climate change projections into the wind energy domain to enhance wind farm performance and wind resource forecasting accuracy. With a strong background in renewable energy systems engineering, Tolga has experience in wind and solar energy feasibility studies, meteorological data analysis, and climate risk assessments. He has contributed to various TÜBİTAK-funded projects, including the development of climate risk maps and decision support systems for the Mediterranean region.
