Data Scientist, Eolos Floating Lidar Solutions
Biography
Marcos P. Araújo da Silva has worked as a Data Scientist at EOLOS since November 2023. He received a PhD in Signal Theory and Communication at the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2023. In his PhD, he worked in two research areas: (i) the atmospheric-boundary-layer sensing by using multi-sensors such as microwave radiometer, lidar-ceilometer, radiosonde, and Doppler Wind Lidar (DWL), and (ii) in offshore wind-profile modelling and atmospheric stability assessment via floating DWL-measurements. Previously, he finished his studies in Environmental Engineering in 2015 and received the MSc in Climate Sciences in 2018, both degrees at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), Brazil.Posters
