Biography

Martin Dörenkämper holds a doctorate in wind energy meteorology/physics and is active in wind energy research since more than 13 years. Since 2022 he manages the group of Numerical Yield and Site Assessment at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems in Oldenburg where he has been coordinating multiple publicly funded as well as industry projects mainly focussing on modelling of large-scale wind farm effects on various scales.
