Biography
Eliott is a Consultant at Frazer-Nash specialising in assessing the aerodynamic losses of offshore wind farms. He has supported several industry research tasks to improve understanding of wind farm blockage and wake effects. This includes leading the development of recommended practices for using Computational Fluid Dynamics models to appraise wind farm blockage on behalf of the Carbon Trust Offshore Wind Accelerator. Eliott has deployed emerging research findings to enhance several of his clients’ energy yield calculations in areas including wind farm blockage and inter-array wakes. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cambridge.
