Biography

Lasse worked for EMD since 2008 and now holds the position as Head of R&D. Lasse has previously led development of windPRO’s new Optimization module, and development and certification of windPRO’s turbine site suitability modules SITE COMPLIANCE and LOAD RESPONSE. Lasse has also led the development of EMD’s mesoscale data products and downscaling capabilities. In his previous job, Lasse worked in the global wind&site competence centre of the turbine manufacturer Suzlon. Lasse holds a PhD in Geophysics from Aarhus University, Denmark.
