Biography

Stéphane Pédeboy is the vice-president of technology at Météorage, a French company providing professional lightning prevention solutions worldwide. He started his career in the company more than 25 years ago as an engineer in charge of the national lightning locating system. He has been involved in several international scientific programs aiming at improving the knowledge in the field of physics of lightning. He wrote several papers for scientific journals and regularly participates to international conferences dedicated to the atmospheric electricity and meteorology.  Finally, he works as an expert at the French national committee (AFNOR) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on lightning protection and prevention standards.
