2. Policy of non-commercial content
- When creating your presentation, make sure it is based on your abstract as accepted by the Programme Committee.
- You may not use your presentation as an advertisement for the services or products of your company. Placing or distributing advertising, informational literature, samples, etc., in session rooms, meeting rooms, corridors or other adjacent areas is not allowed.
- WindEurope reserves the right to cancel any purely commercial presentation, which does not comply with this policy, and you may not be invited to future WindEurope events.
3. Copyright policy
- By submitting an abstract to the WindEurope Technology Workshop 2024, you implicitly give your permission to WindEurope asbl/vzw to reproduce your abstract/PowerPoint presentation/poster/paper in the conference proceedings.
- This does not forfeit your right to publish your abstract/PowerPoint presentation/poster/paper in any other medium, nor does WindEurope retain any exclusive rights over it.
- If you prefer that your abstract/PowerPoint presentation/poster/paper is not published, please notify the conference team by email: [email protected]
4. Data privacy
- You are not allowed to share any contact details received from WindEurope with any third parties.
5. Deliverables
- You must upload your presentation slides and/or poster file to the presenters’ portal
- To login to the presenters’ portal, click on the green button “Sign In with WindEurope SSO”. Only presenters can only access their profile with their own email and personal WindEurope SSO.
- If you have a WindEurope SSO account, fill in your username and password. It is the same credentials you have used for a paying registration to a recent WindEurope event, or to access the members’ area if you are a member.
- If you don’t have an account yet, you will need to sign up, it only takes a few minutes. Your credentials remain valid for future WindEurope events.
- Make sure to register with the same email address that you use to communicate with WindEurope, otherwise the system may not recognize you.
- Following your login, you are redirected to the portal home page.
- You can also check and/or update your profile photo and your biography in the presenters’ portal
- To login to the presenters’ portal, click on the green button “Sign In with WindEurope SSO”. Only presenters can only access their profile with their own email and personal WindEurope SSO.
- Event proceedings
- WindEurope will convert your material to PDF for the event proceedings and make all presentations/posters/papers available to the attendees after the event has ended.
- If you prefer your presentation not to be published or wish to edit it, please notify the conference team by email: [email protected]
6. Audience Interaction
- We plan to use an interactive tool to engage with participants, capture their views and make everyone feel connected.
- You will be able to interact with the audience before/during/after your presentations using the tool (polls, Q&A). Questions for the audience can be prepared in advance and should be part of the draft version of the PowerPoint presentation. The conference secretariat needs to be made aware of this.
- Delegates will be able to send questions to the speakers during the Q&A through the application. A microphone will also be available for questions.
