Biography

Marcus Wiens has studied mechanical engineering and energy systems at RWTH University. In his master thesis, he investigated a robust model predictive control formulation for wind turbines. Since 2019, he is working for Fraunhofer IWES in the Advanced Control Systems group. His current research topics are digitalization of wind energy systems and the application of Co-Simulation for energy system development.
