Biography

Philip is an experienced devloper of scientific software and algorithms. He spent more than six years developing simulation models in Bladed (market leading aeroelastic simulation for wind turbines) at Garrad Hassan (now DNV) where he converted many engineering and mathematical concepts into production software including topics such as structural dynamics, aerodynamics, linearisation and numerical methods. Later, he moved onto lead the modelling development of a greenfield cloud-based wind farm simulator and other projects. With a robust knowledge of engineering maths, physics and scientific programming, Philip now takes the lead in the algorithms and numerical methods that lie behind Bitbloom's systems and services, ensuring they are based on rigorous scientific principles.
