Biography

Maria Alonso Joya works in DNV since 2022 and she is an Industrial Engineer with a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Automatisation. She has previously worked in the development of sizing methods for battery systems assessing their mechanical integrity. She is now part of the Project Development & Analytics team, where she has experience in Site Suitability Assessments, optimisation problems, and in wind and energy resource assessment for pre-construction and operational wind farm projects.
