Biography

Mark Runacres is professor of fluid mechanics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in Belgium, where he teaches courses on fluid mechanics, aerodynamics and wind energy. His overarching research interest is unsteady fluid dynamics. He acts as an expert in the maintenance committee of the IEC 61400-2 standard, is a member of IEA Task 41 on Distributed Wind Energy and chairs the EAWE Technical committee on small wind turbines.
