Biography

Tobias Ahsbahs is a Senior R&D engineer at EMD International, working on wake modelling, automation, remote sensing data integration, and flow modelling. He started a BSc in Aerospace Engineering but was sidetracked to supporting a green energy transition midway and obtained a MSc in Wind Energy. During a PhD at DTU in Risø with focus on remote sensing for offshore wind energy he spent time both in Korea and at NREL in the US during his PhD. His work brought him to EMD International to the cold Norther Jutland and as a passionate wind surfer he always knows the wind forecast for the next few days on the North Sea.
