This session provides a series of introductions to open source models, tools and data structures highly relevant for wind resource assessment. Through concise presentations and live demonstrations participants will learn about these open source resources. Time is limited, so it is proposed that questions should be posed at the end of the session in the 30-minute break that follows the session.
