Biography

Mr. Fields is a senior research engineer with NREL. Mr. Fields is the principal investigator for the US DOE's Performance Risk, Uncertainty and Finance (PRUF) project which includes one of the largest data sharing initiatives in wind, the Wind Plant Performance Prediction (WP3) Benchmark and OpenOA, an open source data analytics tool for wind plant data. Mr. Fields is also the operating agent for IEA Task 43 on wind energy digitalization.
