Biography
James Duncan is a Senior Application Engineer at WindESCo serving as a technical lead for WindESCo Swarm. James received his Ph.D. in Wind Science and Engineering from Texas Tech University and a M.S. and B.S. in Meteorology from Florida State University. His doctoral research focused on engineering innovative analysis techniques to improve our ability to resolve wind plant complex flows using scanning radar systems, and furthermore his research highlighted how boundary layer structure and evolution can impact the effectiveness of various wind plant control methods. James served as a Research Scientist at NOAA Atmospheric Science for Renewable Energy Development group.Presentations
