Biography

Thales Delmiro was born in Mossoró (Brazil). He concluded in 2019 an international double degree program: Aeronautical Engineering (BSc) at ITA, Brazil, and Aerospace Engineering (MSc) at ISAE-SUPAERO, France. He experienced a 5-month internship on multidisciplinary aircraft optimization at the IRT Saint-Exupéry research institute in Toulouse, France in mid-2019. Since then, he has been engaged in the renewable-energy industry gaining experience in wind farm projects at Casa dos Ventos Energias Renováveis where he also developed projects in Wind Resource Assessment (WRA) using mesoscale-microscale wind resource map adjustment, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP).
