The Basque Energy Cluster’s WINDLIFE project develops advanced decision-making tools and remanufacturing technologies to extend wind turbine component lifetimes. By combining inspection, predictive modelling and in-situ recovery solutions, it enables more efficient maintenance and operations. The project supports circularity, reduces costs, and unlocks new strategies to repurpose and upgrade ageing wind farm assets for long-term sustainability.
