Biography

Dr. Jon Mendiola is leading ERREKA Smart Fastening's Design, Manufacturing and Engineering activities of Critical joints in the wind sector. He is a manager with detailed insight into WTG joints design stemming from 18 years in the Wind industry. Jon's project experience includes design works and project management roles in different scopes, FEA and Detailed Designs, new manufacturing process design and execution, improve fatigue designs and characterization, optimization on tightening processes and logistics, contributing to the development of more reliable joints on the wind industry. During his career, Jon has been managing and participating on several National and European projects related to wind industry.
