Biography

Holly Backhurst is the Sustainability Strategy Manager at Nadara, where she leads the company's approach to social and governance aspects of sustainability. Her work focuses on strengthening community engagement, advancing sustainable and local procurement, and improving sustainability governance across the organisation. Prior to her current role, Holly was the ESG Manager at Ventient Energy, where she led the company's ESG reporting and strategy. She formerly worked as a Senior ESG Consultant at ITPEnergised, advising clients across industries on ESG strategy development and reporting. Holly holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge, where she developed a strong interest in sustainability and social justice.
