Biography

Lucie Mc Govern is a project officer at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, where she currently works on delivering science for policy in the fields of wind and ocean energy. Her interests include the sector’s contributions to EU’s decarbonisation targets, as well as the technology and practice developments in terms of sustainability and circularity. She also holds a strong experience in the field of solar energy, with a PhD focused on perovskite solar cells and a postdoc studying the techno-economics of novel solar cells.
