Session description
The timing of end-of-life decisions and the consequent decisions regarding the future of existing turbine materials, and repowering opportunities, involves technical as well as analytical, financial and political questions. What influences end-of-life decisions? Are there barriers, and if so, what steps can be taken to remove them? In this session, explore real-life cases from onshore wind farms and discover how end-of-life decisions for repowering were made and managed.
