Biography

Louise Drue Andersen, Wind Segment Manager at Stena Recycling is driving the company’s developments in specializing in the wind turbine segment and composite blade recycling. As segment manager, Louise is responsible for management of Stena’s team effort in incubating their wind turbine industry segment to strengthen Stena Recycling's journey in making renewable energy even greener. This means supporting, initiating, and leading various projects, trials, tasks, and investigations within handling reusing, and recycling waste materials from the wind turbine industry. Stena Recycling has for many years contributed to the creation of sustainable solutions for recycling of complex materials and leads projects to develop new separation facilities. Louise manages Stena’s Composite Blade Recycling project, where the team works hard to achieve efficient recovery and repurposing of valuable resources in composites, for Stena to contribute to a circular economy within the industry.
