Biography

Laurie GILBERT has a double degree MSc Renewables Energy Technologies INSA de Rouen (FR) - Cranfield University (UK). She started her career in renewable energy by an internship in the EDF Renewables offshore wind farm development department, before joining Q ENERGY France in 2017. After three-years’ experience as a design engineer, she is now in charge of developing the repowering activity.
As member and pilot of several technical and administrative working groups, Laurie works closely with French renewable energy associations to develop wind energy and promote repowering in France. Laurie is also the author of several articles and released a handbook dedicated to the repowering in 2021.
