Biography

Alexandra Arntsen is the Lead Data Scientist at NRG Systems, where she focuses on technology applications engineering, system performance evaluation, and the development of data-driven algorithms that leverage observation-model synthesis. Since entering the renewable energy industry in 2019, she has applied her expertise to both the resource assessment and resource monitoring aspects of the wind and solar industries. Alexandra holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College, where her research centered on geophysical observations and enhancing remote sensing methodologies. This background has fostered a specialization in lidar systems, and she is committed to driving the continued optimization and broader adoption of remote sensing technologies.
