Biography

Enrika Uusitalo is Business Development Manager for Offshore Wind, Baltic & Nordic at Sarens NV, specialising in heavy-lift and port logistics for renewable energy projects. She is also a Doctoral Researcher at the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM), with her PhD focused on engineering feasibility and sustainability requirements for offshore marshalling ports in cold-climate regions. Coming from a background in politics and international cooperation, Enrika brings strong cross-border experience and a global outlook to the offshore wind sector. Her work bridges day-to-day industry practice with academic research, integrating infrastructure design, electrification of heavy-lift assets, and circular economy pathways, with the aim of positioning Baltic-Nordic ports as strategic enablers of Europe's energy transition.
