Biography

Antonio Piazzoni holds a master’s degree in Physics and a PhD in Geophysics. He has over 17 years of experience in the wind energy sector, with a particular focus on wind and site topics. His expertise includes wind and energy resource assessment, wind measurement methodologies (including addressing typical measurement errors and conducting subsequent uncertainty analyses), site suitability, layout optimization, and the use of satellite resources. Antonio is currently the Head of Wind Energy Assessment at Edison S.p.A.
