PhD student, DTU Wind & Energy Systems
Biography
I am a Ph.D. student at DTU’s Department of Wind and Energy Systems, specializing in wake modeling for large-scale wind farm clusters. I earned my Master’s degree in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering from DTU in 2022, where I focused on atmospheric dynamics and remote sensing. Before that, I worked as a research assistant at the University of Chile and the University of Aysén, contributing to mesoscale modeling for wind energy and agricultural applications. My master’s thesis explored satellite wind assimilation in the WRF model and received the highest possible grade. Currently, I conduct mesoscale simulations, apply data assimilation techniques, and validate results using diverse observational platforms. I have also developed GIS-based web applications and analyzed large-scale offshore wind scenarios in the North Sea. Passionate about renewable energy and atmospheric science, I aim to combine technical expertise with collaboration to advance sustainable energy solutions.Posters
