PhD Student, von Karman Institute
Biography
I graduated in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy, with a Master’s thesis on the comparison of machine learning methods for flow control. I then completed a Research Master at the von Karman Institute (VKI), where I worked on the experimental and numerical control of a wind turbine using reinforcement learning, and I have been pursuing a PhD there since. My research focuses on hybridising machine learning and physics to enable real-time twinning and control of wind turbines and wind farms.
