Bjarke is a meteorologist and researcher developing methods and software for wind resource assessment, siting, and forecasting. He is a co-developer of the WindKit and PyWAsP software packages and has been involved in the creation of several wind atlases (NEWA, GWA, GASP). During his Ph.D., Bjarke worked on mesoscale to microscale downscaling through a tendencies-based coupling of WRF and EllipSys3D.
