Biography

Mr. Pennock is UL Solutions Global Commercial Lead for Digital Solutions in the Renewables business segment. Mr. Pennock has over eighteen years of experience in the renewables industry. Having previously held the role of Global Director of Grid Solutions, Mr. Pennock led the organization’s global short-term renewable energy forecasting services and related grid services for transmission management and planning.  He has served as the principal investigator or co-investigator for multiple federally and privately funded renewable power forecasting and grid integration studies.  Mr. Pennock holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies, a Master’s in Geography, and a Master’s in Business Administration.
