Biography
Udhaya Chandiran Krishnan Paranjothi is a PhD candidate in the Wind Energy Section at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). His research focuses on large-scale interactions between wind farms and the atmospheric boundary layer, including wind-farm-induced gravity waves. He employs high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics frameworks, such as large eddy simulations, to investigate these phenomena and assess their impact on wind farm performance. His work also involves comparing simulation approaches of varying fidelity for key real-world scenarios, with the aim of validating and improving wind farm modeling tools.Posters
