Lead Scientist - Advanced Numerics, RWE
Biography
Christopher is Lead Scientist for Advanced Numerics at RWE. He is responsible for numerical modelling, research and development including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and bringing advanced techniques to a production level. Christopher additionally leads high performance computing (HPC) capabilities and is heavily involved in research activities for turbine interaction, atmospheric and topographic effects. In parallel, he was technical lead for the OWA GloBE measurement campaign deploying scanning LiDAR for the purposes of measuring blockage / turbine interaction effects and model validation. Christopher graduated in 2012 in Aerospace Engineering and has been with RWE since 2018.
