Research Engineer, France Energies Marines
Biography
Marion Coquelet is a mechanical engineer with a degree from UMONS in Belgium. She earned a PhD in Engineering Sciences in 2022 through a joint program between UCLouvain and UMONS, where she specialized in the numerical experimentation of control strategies for wind turbines and developed expertise in medium‑ and high‑fidelity simulation tools for loads and wake modeling. In 2023, she joined TU Delft as a postdoctoral researcher, contributing to the preparation of field tests on commercial wind turbines aimed at maximizing wind‑farm energy production. Since 2025, she has been a research engineer at France Energies Marines, deepening her expertise in wake and atmospheric‑flow modeling through projects such as FARWAKES and 2CMORE.Posters
