Pim van Dorp has a background in atmospheric physics and has been working on simulation and data analysis of wind farms for almost 10 years, of which 8 years in the R&D team of Whiffle. His main focus is on development and validation of Whiffle's LES-based weather and wind farm model. He has been involved in several multi-institutional research projects, including the recently concluded WINS50 project.
