Biography

Selahattin Seha Cirit graduated from Istanbul Technical University Meteorological Engineering program in 2021. In his undergraduate dissertation, he studied “Wind and Solar Energy Generation Forecasting based on Numerical Weather Prediction Models and Machine Learning Algorithms”. He has been working as a Meteo Data Scientist at Algopoly since July 2021. Currently, he is a graduate degree student at Boğaziçi University, Department of Computational Science and Engineering. Selahattin focuses on developing algorithms for renewable energy prediction models and data analysis to gain insights about strengths and weaknesses of models.
