Wind Resource Assessment Engineer, Polat Energy
Biography
I am a Wind Resource Assessment Engineer with 9 years of experience in hydrological and water quality modeling, and the past year dedicated exclusively to Wind Energy Modeling. I have extensive knowledge of the Energy Yield Analysis process, starting from data collection (mast operations) and treatment of raw data to calculating P50 and P90 metrics. I possess strong skills in analyzing wind and meteorological data using advanced data analysis tools, including Excel, Python, R, MATLAB, as well as specialized software such as Meteodyn, WindPRO, WindFarmer, WAsP, Windographer, ArcGIS, QGIS and GlobalMapper. Additionally, I have the capability to use CFD models to create wind resource maps at desired hub heights and conduct optimization (micrositing) studies for different layout scenarios. Driven by a commitment to data-driven decision-making, I am eager to further my career in wind energy, contributing to innovative and sustainable energy solutions.Posters
