Biography

Baris Takan has over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. His previous experiences include project development and turbine manufacturer technologies. He currently serves as Project Manager and Team Lead in UL Solutions Energy Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In his current role, he is responsible for managing wind farm projects. Baris has been in the last 6 years, Team Lead of the Technical Team in Turkiye and in charge of the development of national and international wind farm projects. Expert in wind measurement campaigns, data analysis, wind farm design and optimization (onshore) and wind resource assessment. He has worked in projects, totaling more than 10 GW, in different countries including Europe, America, Asia & Africa.
