Biography

Lukas Vollmer has been a wind energy researcher for over 10 years. His work primarily focuses on the consequences of large-scale expansion of offshore wind energy on wake effects and the resulting energy yields of wind farms. A key aspect of his research is the validation of resource models using production data from wind farms. He is active in the international research community as subtask leader of the uncertainty task in the IEA Task 57 - JAM.
