Biography

Henrik Skov has more than 35 years' experience in bird projects, including marine and coastal infrastructure projects and projects dealing with the ecology and conservation of marine birds. He has experience from approximately 60 marine and coastal impact assessments and has been the coordinator of bird studies related to several marine wind farms, including the latest studies on seabird avoidance behaviour at Luchterduinen and Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farms. He has functioned as the technical lead for the Offshore Wind, Offshore Renewables Joint Industry Programme (ORJIP) on bird avoidance behaviour and collision impact monitoring at offshore wind farms coordinated by the Carbon Trust. Henrik has been responsible for the management of DHIs multi-sensor MUSE systems in seven offshore wind farms.
