Biography
I have more than 20 years of international experience in the wind resource assessment field, both onshore and offshore. I have participated in a large number of national and international projects related with the wind energy resource assessment and wind energy forecast. I am also widely experienced in national and international research projects, such as WEPI, Safewind, EERA Dtoc, WetSite, NEWA, AIRE…,, as well as in the development and delivery of many wind resource training courses. Furthermore I am CENER representative in the international Resource Assessment experts group IEC 61400-1 and 61400-15.
My key skills include, among others, measurement campaigns design, meteorological data analysis and processing, wind turbine class assessment, wind farm micrositing and energy production estimation, and specific products as wind maps based on mesoscale models, virtual wind time series and extreme conditions analysis.
