Biography

Sergio has a Ph. D. in Physics, he is specialist in Scientific Computing, Computer Simulation, Data Science and Big Data. More than twenty years of experience in the advisory sector performing analytic consulting projects and advance software development, mainly for the energy and telecommunication companies. He has also experience as instructor in Data Science, Big Data and programming courses and from 2011 also as Assistant Lecturer of Physics at the University of Zaragoza. Sergio join DNV in 2018  in the Energy Wind Analytics department. Sergio’s work is focused in advanced data analytics and machine learning applied to renewable energy advisory,  energy assessments,   hybridization of renewable and energy storage projects, financial risk analysis, as well as electricity market forecasting and strategy optimization for renewable energy producers.
