Biography

Mr. Asier Olcoz is an accomplished engineer at UL Solutions with over eight years of experience in the renewable energy sector. He has developed his career primarily as a Project Manager, specializing in Lifetime Extension under certification schemes, having analyzed more than 32 GW of wind turbines. His expertise also encompasses Root Cause Analysis, wind farm site suitability assessments, and load simulations. In his current role, Mr. Olcoz leads the global team at UL Solutions in the field of Lifetime Evaluation. He manages projects and oversees their execution for wind farms located in Spain, while also coordinating the implementation of projects worldwide with local project managers in France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, or China. Mr. Olcoz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Public University of Navarra, as well as a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy.
