Biography

Brian Gribben has been active in offshore wind farm aerodynamic modelling and measurement for fifteen years. Over that time he has made contributions to practice in wakes and blockage modelling, layout optimisation, wind resource uncertainty reduction and to research in wind farm control. Thermal stratification effects are a current focus of research as their significance becomes increasingly well understood. Brian is the Research & Innovation Manager at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, and a ONE KBR Technical Fellow. Brian is also the founder of the Our Tide educational community project for tidal energy.
