Biography

Andrew is a chartered engineer with more than 16 years of experience in renewable energy. Since joining BrightWind’s founders in 2018, he has taken responsibility for the development of BrightWind’s consultancy offering. Prior to this, Andrew worked for six years as a technical manager and principal energy analyst for the tidal turbine developer, OpenHydro Technology. He originally studied at Queens University Belfast, completing both a Masters in Civil Engineering and a PhD investigation of turbine fluid dynamics, based on both tank tests and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
