Biography

Lukas is a Project Leader and Researcher in Sensor Data Analytics at the Materials Center Leoben (MCL), where he leads the BladeWatch research project, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced software tools for condition monitoring systems in wind turbines. With a background in Environmental Systems Sciences, specializing in Economics, Lukas combines interdisciplinary expertise with analytical thinking, enabling him to approach challenges from multiple perspectives. He is responsible for data analytics, software development, and research, leveraging over 6+ years of experience in condition monitoring for industrial machinery. Lukas applies this expertise to help optimize the condition monitoring system design process for wind turbines through new software tools.
