Christian Reichmann

Application Software Designer, Deif Wind Power Austria GmbH

Biography

Christian Reichmann is an accomplished professional in research and development for wind turbines, with expertise in electrical control systems and data analysis. His current role as an Application Software Designer and Control Engineer at DEIF Wind Power Technology involves developing, programming, and testing electrical control  systems, as well as customer training and technical documentation. He previously worked as an Automation and Drives Engineer at AMSC Austria, where he was responsible for developing automation systems, testing, and commissioning. Christian holds a master’s degree in Information and Communication Engineering, specializing in autonomous systems and robotics, and a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on robotics. His academic projects include rotor balancing for wind turbines and GPS motion tracking for skiing. Fluent in German and English, Christian is skilled in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Matlab, and has expertise in tools like ELK Stack, AWS, and 3D modeling software.
